IN SHORT
  • Hotels around Tokyo Disney Resort differ a lot in how close they are, how you reach the parks, and what they lend for babies. We compare four with official baby information.
  • Cribs and other baby gear are limited at the hotels that say so. Some hotels let you reserve them; one can't hold them in advance.
  • Co-sleeping rules differ too, so check your child's age, and the fee, against each hotel's rule before you book.

A day at a theme park with a baby is a lot, for the baby and even more for the grown-ups. Where you sleep decides how that day ends: a short walk back for a nap, or a long bus ride with a tired toddler and a folded stroller.

We looked at the official pages of four hotels around Tokyo Disney Resort that publish baby information, and compared what matters with a baby: cribs and baby gear, co-sleeping rules, nursing rooms, and how you get to the parks.

What kinds of hotels are there around Tokyo Disney Resort?

Hotels near the resort describe themselves with different official labels. The four we compare:

  • Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay calls itself a Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotel [2]. Hilton Tokyo Bay’s official site also describes it as an Official hotel [4]. Both are by Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line monorail [1] [5].
  • Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay is a Tokyo Disney Resort Partner Hotel in Shin-Urayasu, with a free shuttle bus to the parks [8].
  • 1955 Tokyo Bay by Hoshino Resorts runs its own free shuttle bus to the parks [10].

This comparison doesn’t cover the Disney Hotels. Check the official Tokyo Disney Resort website for their baby services.

Official Hotel perks, as an example. At Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, guests on plans that include the right to buy park tickets can buy one day of tickets per night for everyone in the room, including preschool children sharing a bed; the tickets themselves cost extra. Check-in and free luggage delivery are available at the Welcome Center next to JR Maihama Station [2]. Hilton Tokyo Bay offers check-in and free luggage delivery at the same Welcome Center [5]. At Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay, park tickets are currently sold only as stay-plus-ticket plans [9].

What stands out:

  • Every hotel here says baby gear is limited, or doesn’t say. Hilton Tokyo Bay and Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay ask you to reserve [4] [6], so do it as soon as you book. 1955 Tokyo Bay hands items out free around the clock but can’t hold them for you [10], so have a backup plan for the crib.
  • Crib age limits differ. Up to 24 months at Hilton Tokyo Bay [4], but under 1 and not yet pulling up to stand at Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay [6]. Tell the hotel your baby’s age.
  • A stroller you can borrow. Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay lends a stroller for babies from 1 month to 2 years (up to 15 kg) for free, and you can take it into the parks; reserve by phone [6]. Hilton Tokyo Bay doesn’t lend strollers [4].
  • Co-sleeping rules differ. One child per bed, one per adult, or up to the room’s capacity. Breakfast is another line: at Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay it’s free for co-sleeping children aged 4 and under and ¥1,500 from age 5 [6]; at 1955 Tokyo Bay it’s free for ages 3 and under with an adult, and ¥1,000 for ages 4 to 6 [10].

For how these rates work across Japan, see our guide to child rates and co-sleeping. For where your baby should sleep, see our guide to cribs, futons and twin beds, which links to Japan’s official safe-sleep guidance. Talk to your pediatrician about your baby’s sleep.

How far is each hotel from the parks, and can you go back for a nap?

A wide, flat sidewalk runs beside a quiet road and an elevated expressway in Maihama on a sunny summer day, with a pedestrian bridge in the distance.

This is where the hotels differ most.

Getting to the parks from four hotels (official pages, checked November 2026)
HotelHow you get to the parksWith a strollerSource
Hotel Okura Tokyo BayAbout 3 minutes' walk to Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line monorail; free bus to Bayside Station and JR MaihamaBus to Bayside Station: no need to fold. Bus to JR Maihama: fold it, or take the monorail[1]
Hilton Tokyo BayAbout 1 minute on foot or by free bus to Bayside Station; free shuttle bus to JR Maihama, about 7 minutesNot stated[5]
Hotel Emion Tokyo BayFree guest shuttle, no reservation: about 10 minutes to Tokyo DisneySea and 15 minutes to Tokyo DisneylandNot stated[8] [9]
1955 Tokyo BayFree shuttle bus, no reservation: every 5 minutes at peak times, about 30 minutesNot stated[10]

The monorail. The Disney Resort Line is a loop with four stations that takes about 13 minutes to go around, running every 4 to 13 minutes. According to Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay’s access page, babies under 1 ride free, and children under elementary school age ride free, up to two per paying passenger [1].

Shuttle buses. Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay notes that if a shuttle is full you wait for the next one, and that traffic can delay it [8]. Its park-side stop is shared with other hotels’ buses, so check you’re boarding the right one [8].

The nap question. If your baby naps best in a bed, a hotel you can reach in a few minutes makes a midday break realistic. With a 30-minute bus ride each way, it may make more sense to nap in the stroller and stay in the park. Neither is wrong. It’s worth deciding before you choose the hotel.

At JR Maihama Station, Hilton Tokyo Bay notes there’s an elevator as well as stairs on the way to its shuttle bus stop [5].

Budget options and Japanese-style rooms

A Japanese-style room. Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay has a 44 m² Japanese-style room for up to four people, where staff lay out futons on the floor, and the bathroom has a separate washing area [3]. The hotel points out that with futons on the floor, small children won’t fall from a bed [3]. How your baby sleeps on a futon is still a safety question: our crib and futon guide links to Japan’s official guidance, and your pediatrician can advise.

Shoes-off rooms and low beds. At 1955 Tokyo Bay, all rooms are shoes-off, and some rooms have a low sleeping platform designed for children aged 0 to 3 [10].

Prices. Rates change by date, so we’re giving only one dated example: on November 4, 2026, 1955 Tokyo Bay’s official page showed rooms from ¥5,460 per person, for four people in a room booked 90 days ahead [10]. Check current prices on each hotel’s site.

Nursing rooms and baby care inside the hotels

  • 1955 Tokyo Bay has a nursing room behind the women’s restroom on the first floor, with two private rooms and two changing tables, open 24 hours [10].
  • Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay has a nursing room on the first floor, diaper-changing restrooms on the first and 22nd floors, and sells diapers and wipes at its second-floor convenience store. Hot water for formula comes from the kettle in your room [6].
  • Hilton Tokyo Bay’s restaurants will warm baby food you bring, and breakfast includes a kids’ menu [4].

Baths and pools. Hotel Emion Tokyo Bay asks that children not out of diapers stay out of its large bath [7]. At Hilton Tokyo Bay’s pool, children in diapers wear a swim diaper under their swimsuit [4]. Our guide to onsen with a baby in diapers has more on bath rules.

Before you book: a checklist

  • Can we reserve a crib? What age is it for? Is there a fee?
  • Is co-sleeping free, and up to what age? Is breakfast included for a co-sleeping child?
  • How do we get to the parks: walk, monorail or shuttle bus? Do we need to fold the stroller?
  • Does the hotel lend a stroller?
  • Is there a nursing room or diaper-changing area in the hotel?
  • Does the room type we want have space for a crib?
